How to edit your site RECIPES section.

This is called the Projects Section in the theme.

Use it to display your best visual content.

First, you’ll need to log into your blog following these instructions.

That will take you to the dashboard of your site.

Open your site in a new tab, and you will see a black bar with editing options as shown below:

Click “Edit Page” and it will take you to the screen shown below:

Scroll downwards, until you see the section named “SIMPLE AND HEALTHY RECIPES”

To edit the LIGHT BLUE TITLE SECTION COLOR, click on three horizontal lines on the first grey area named SIMPLE AND HEALTHY RECIPES.

That will take you the screen shown below:

You can edit the TITLE area, however leave the rest of the settings as is, because we’ve already optimized the theme for you.

Next, drag the grey line shown above to scroll downwards, until you see BACKGROUND COLOR.

To edit the color of this section, click anywhere in the blue colored section above, and the section below will appear.

1 – Drag this with your mouse cursor to select a color.

2 – Drag up or down to increase or decrease the shade/ intensity of the color you chose you chose using (1) above.

3 – Drag up or down to increase or decrease the transparency of the color you chose using (1) and (2) above.

4 – If you already a color code, you can copy and paste it here, and it will override the settings in  (1), (2), and (3) above. If you don’t have a color code, disregard and choose your color manually as discussed above.

After you’ve chosen your color, click on the green SAVE & EXIT button.

Finally, click the blue UPDATE button shown below to save all your changes.

Alternatively, you can use the VISUAL EDITOR to customize this section on the front end of your site. Click here for instructions on how to do that.

Note: To add new recipes, go to DASHBOARD – PROJECTS – ADD NEW.

This will take you to a new page, where you can create your new recipe like you would any other post or page.

You’ll need to set up a featured image for each of your recipes. See feature #20 at this link.

The recommended featured image size for the recipes section is 700 x 350 pixels.
